Who you are
You have a strong background in sourcing and procurement, with experience in developing and executing strategies that enhance cost efficiency and product quality. Your expertise in vendor selection and relationship management allows you to build and maintain a robust supplier base that aligns with company values. You are skilled in price negotiations and contract management, ensuring that budgetary goals are met while driving continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
You possess analytical skills that enable you to leverage large datasets and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for cost reduction and best practices. Your ability to manage cost savings initiatives through strategic sourcing processes demonstrates your commitment to achieving targeted budgets. You understand the importance of innovation in product development and are eager to support SKU ideation and onboarding.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take full ownership of assigned categories, developing and optimizing the supply network to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. You will refine and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies that improve the overall cost structure of the business. Your responsibilities will include managing relationships with strategic suppliers, overseeing performance management, and driving innovation activities.
You will play a key role in budgetary planning, ensuring that cost savings initiatives are effectively managed to meet financial targets. By continuously improving the end-to-end sourcing process, you will contribute to the overall profitability of the organization. Your work will directly impact how the business interacts with its supplier base, shaping the strategy and framework for supplier engagement.
