Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement and supply chain management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements across multiple categories. Your expertise in negotiation and contract management has enabled you to successfully negotiate contracts that drive mutual value for both the company and suppliers. You are a strategic thinker who can develop and execute category strategies that align with business goals, and you have a strong understanding of cost of goods sold (COGS) management and improvement.
You possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to conduct thorough financial performance reviews and variance analyses. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Legal, and Finance, ensures that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on delivering results.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Packaging Strategic Procurement team, overseeing a range of process improvement and supply chain execution projects. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) for strategic procurement across multiple categories, developing category strategies and executing supply chain transformation projects. Your responsibilities will include managing the annual Packaging budgets for North America, conducting monthly financial performance reviews, and analyzing variance drivers to prioritize action items.
You will negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all contract functions are managed effectively, both pre- and post-award. Your role will also involve risk mitigation, where you will negotiate Master Services Agreements and collaborate with in-house counsel to build a robust supply chain that minimizes disruption risk and total spend. You will be the business owner of the Packaging COGS program, driving its roll-out and management across North America.
