Who you are
You have significant experience in food safety and quality assurance, ideally within the food industry. Your technical expertise allows you to effectively drive compliance and maintain high standards of product quality. You are skilled in supplier management, audits, and performance evaluations, ensuring that all suppliers meet the necessary food safety requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Your strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from suppliers to internal teams. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance food safety practices across the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will act as the FSQA business partner for UK-sourced ingredients, dedicating approximately 50% of your time to supporting the local ingredient sourcing team. You will provide hands-on food safety and quality input to sourcing and commercial decisions, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards. You will lead supplier approval processes, conduct audits, and manage ongoing performance evaluations for UK-based suppliers. The remaining 50% of your time will focus on driving food safety and quality compliance across our international Grocery and Convenience supplier base. You will collaborate with FSQA colleagues and stakeholders across Europe to implement best practices and ensure consistency in food safety standards. Your role will involve strategic FSQA projects that contribute to the overall food safety excellence of HelloFresh.
