Who you are
You are a highly motivated professional with a proven track record in food safety and quality assurance. You have experience elevating and embedding food safety and quality culture within complex organizations, demonstrating your strategic and analytical mindset. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about ensuring compliance and quality in food production.
You possess strong leadership skills and have successfully managed teams in the past, guiding them to achieve high standards in food safety and quality. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders allows you to drive initiatives that enhance food safety practices across the organization.
What you'll do
In this role, you will report to the VP of International FSQA, Sustainability & Packaging, and be responsible for developing and executing a long-term strategy for the Grocery & Convenience team. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with food safety standards and continuously improve quality assurance processes. Your strategic vision will help elevate the team's performance beyond mere compliance, fostering a culture of excellence in food safety.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and ensure that all food safety protocols are adhered to. Your analytical skills will be crucial in assessing risks and identifying areas for improvement within the supply chain. You will also play a key role in training and mentoring team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold the highest standards of food safety.
