HelloFresh is seeking a WMS Systems Engineer to provide first-level support for fulfillment systems at their automated production site in Derby. You'll work with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) to ensure efficient operations. This role requires experience in system support and operational improvement.

Who you are

You have experience in systems engineering, particularly in warehouse management systems, and understand the intricacies of fulfillment operations. You are adept at providing real-time support for systems and can identify opportunities for operational improvement. Your analytical skills allow you to develop dashboards for system analysis and monitoring, ensuring that all processes run smoothly. You are proactive in reporting incidents and raising health and safety concerns, contributing to a safe working environment.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure that warehouse operations are efficient and effective. Your communication skills enable you to serve as the first point of contact for system-related inquiries, and you are comfortable discussing technical issues with both technical and non-technical team members. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking ways to enhance your skills and knowledge in warehouse systems.

Desirable

Experience with automated production systems or similar environments is a plus. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques will help you excel in this role. A background in project management or process improvement methodologies would also be beneficial, as you will be involved in recommending and implementing change controls.

What you'll do

In this role, you will provide first-level support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) at HelloFresh's automated production site in Derby. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving system-related inquiries, ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your role will involve developing dashboards to enable system analysis and monitoring, allowing for real-time insights into warehouse performance.

You will work closely with various teams to recommend and implement operational improvements, defining local reporting requirements to enhance efficiency. Your ability to evaluate software continuously will be crucial in maintaining optimal system performance. You will also be responsible for reporting incidents immediately and actively raising health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager, contributing to a safe and secure working environment.

As part of a new warehouse software implementation team, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that all systems are integrated effectively. Your insights and recommendations will play a vital role in shaping the future of warehouse operations at HelloFresh. You will also have the opportunity to support the German facility in Barleben occasionally, broadening your experience and exposure to international operations.
