You possess hands-on experience with flight hardware design and ground test equipment, allowing you to contribute effectively to the development of prototype vehicles. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative build and test environment, where you can apply your problem-solving skills to overcome challenging engineering obstacles.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the electrical power architecture for all new vehicle development at Hermeus. This includes designing and implementing systems that provide electrical, fluid, and mechanical power to critical components of hypersonic aircraft. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of electrical and mechanical engineers, ensuring that all systems are integrated seamlessly. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior engineers, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge in electrical engineering.

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the projects, from initial concept through to testing and deployment. This hands-on role will require you to support the build and test of multiple prototype vehicles, ensuring that all systems function as intended. You will also be responsible for establishing standards and tools that enhance the team's overall capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
