Who you are
You are a proactive and hands-on EHS Technician with experience in environmental, health, and safety practices. You understand the importance of compliance and safety in high-stakes environments, particularly in the aerospace sector. Your ability to work collaboratively with teams ensures that operations run smoothly and safely, both on-site and at remote locations.
You have a strong background in EHS support, ideally within manufacturing or testing environments. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety standards help you identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions. You are comfortable with travel, as this role requires approximately 50% travel to deployed operations sites across various states.
What you'll do
In this role, you will provide essential EHS support across Hermeus's deployed test operations and local manufacturing teams. You will ensure that all operations are compliant with safety regulations and standards, conducting regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement. Your hands-on approach will involve working directly with teams at the Hawthorne facilities, providing guidance and support to ensure safe practices are followed.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement safety protocols that align with the company's mission of delivering high-speed aircraft capabilities. Your role will also involve training team members on EHS practices and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
