Job Description

Who you are

You are a recent graduate with a background in engineering, particularly in projects related to highly integrated systems like Cubesat, Rocketry, or Drone Racing. You have a solid understanding of programming languages such as C and C++, and you are familiar with Embedded Linux environments. Your academic projects have equipped you with the skills to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and you are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting.

You possess a keen interest in aerospace technology and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to national defense initiatives. You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to ensuring product reliability and functionality. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will help you thrive in this role.

Desirable

Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing or similar methodologies would be a plus. Familiarity with avionics systems and their validation processes is also desirable. You are open to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies as you grow in your career.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testbeds that validate complex avionics systems for hypersonic aircraft. You will work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to ensure that the testbeds meet all specifications and compliance requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the development of next-generation aircraft technologies.

You will engage in hands-on testing and troubleshooting of the HIL systems, ensuring that they function correctly under various scenarios. Collaborating with your team, you will analyze test results and provide insights that will inform design improvements and system enhancements. Your role will also involve documenting your work and maintaining clear communication with team members to facilitate project progress.
