You are a motivated individual pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, eager to gain hands-on experience in software engineering. You have a foundational understanding of programming concepts and are particularly interested in modeling and simulation. What you'll do
As a Modeling & Simulation Software Engineering Intern at Hermeus, you will work closely with the software team to develop performant modeling and simulation code for our 6DOF SITL simulation. Your primary focus will be on using Julia to create hardware and physics-informed software models. You will interface with the Flight Software, HMI, and Flight Sciences teams to ensure that the simulation meets the needs of various stakeholders. Your work will involve validating results with real data, contributing to the overall accuracy and reliability of our simulations. Throughout the summer, you will gain valuable experience in software development and learn about the aerospace industry, particularly in the context of high-speed aircraft manufacturing.
