Who you are

You have experience in facilities maintenance, particularly in a lab or healthcare environment, and are skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Your ability to analyze and communicate maintenance issues effectively makes you a valuable team member. You work well under general supervision and are comfortable interacting with supervisors regularly to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently.

You understand the importance of preventive maintenance and are proactive in identifying potential issues before they become problems. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments, ensuring that the lab environment remains safe and functional.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for applying predictive and preventive maintenance procedures for all lab equipment in the Pharmacy. You will analyze and troubleshoot maintenance problems in various areas, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, and HVAC systems. Your work will ensure that all equipment operates smoothly, contributing to the overall efficiency of the operations.

You will interact with the Principal Program Manager and other team members to communicate any maintenance concerns and collaborate on solutions. Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe and effective working environment for all staff in the lab. You will also be expected to document maintenance activities and assist in training new team members on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
