You are a licensed pharmacist with extensive experience in sterile compounding, demonstrating a strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 regulations. You have a proven track record of maintaining compliance and ensuring the safety and efficacy of compounded sterile preparations. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively oversee operations and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence in sterile compounding practices.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities while ensuring strict adherence to protocols. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality make you a trusted resource in the compounding pharmacy. You are passionate about improving patient outcomes through safe and effective medication preparation.
What you'll do
As the Lead Compounding Pharmacist, you will oversee the sterile compounding operations within the Modular Cleanroom Suite, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. You will act as the Designated Person for USP 797 and USP 800, maintaining and enforcing proper aseptic techniques. Your responsibilities will include training and supervising pharmacy staff, conducting regular audits of compounding practices, and implementing quality assurance measures to enhance operational efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with the Sterile Compounding Manager to develop and refine compounding protocols, ensuring that all preparations meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels of compounding supplies and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Your role will also involve staying current with industry trends and advancements in sterile compounding practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the pharmacy's operations.
