What you'll do

As the Lead Compounding Pharmacist, you will oversee the operations of the sterile compounding area, ensuring that all processes meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy. You will act as the Designated Person for USP 797 and USP 800, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include training staff on proper aseptic techniques and cleanroom standards, as well as conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to protocols. You will collaborate with the Sterile Compounding Manager to implement best practices and improve operational efficiency.

In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of compounding activities and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. You will play a key role in developing training materials and protocols for new staff, ensuring that they are well-prepared to meet the demands of the position. Your expertise will be invaluable in troubleshooting any issues that arise in the compounding process, and you will be expected to provide guidance and support to your team as needed.
