Hootsuite is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to develop and close new business with mid-market customers. You'll work in a fast-paced sales environment and collaborate with inbound lead generation teams. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in navigating sales cycles.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers within mid-market segments. Your experience allows you to navigate complex sales cycles from value creation to negotiation and closing, ensuring you meet individual quota targets. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at building rapport with prospective customers, leveraging insightful market and industry information to recommend tailored solutions. You are comfortable delivering product presentations and demos, showcasing the value of Hootsuite's solutions to potential clients. Your ability to collaborate with pre and post-sales teams helps you effectively navigate roadblocks and ensure customer satisfaction.

Desirable

Experience in social media management or related industries is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales forecasting techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are a team player who enjoys working closely with others to achieve common goals and drive business growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for successfully acquiring new mid-market customers by responding to and actioning internal leads. You will forecast and close new business revenue every month, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets. Your role will involve recommending relevant solutions from Hootsuite's product range to address clients' business challenges, thereby delivering maximum benefit to customers. You will also complete RFI/RFP and other supplier technical requirement documents, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to facilitate the sales process. Your proactive approach will help you seek out market insights that can inform your sales strategies and enhance customer engagement.
