Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers within the mid-market segment. Your experience allows you to navigate complex sales cycles from value creation to negotiation and closing. You are adept at building rapport with clients and understanding their business challenges, which enables you to recommend tailored solutions effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with inbound lead generation teams to maximize opportunities. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to deliver compelling product presentations and demos that resonate with potential customers.

Desirable

Experience in social media management or related industries is a plus, as it will help you understand the unique needs of Hootsuite's customers. Familiarity with RFI/RFP processes and technical requirement documentation will also be beneficial in this role. You are proactive in seeking market insights and trends to enhance your sales strategies and customer interactions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new mid-market customers by responding to and actioning internal leads. You will work closely with the sales team to achieve individual quota targets and forecast new business revenue monthly. Your ability to present the value of Hootsuite's solutions will be crucial in persuading prospective customers to choose Hootsuite as their social media management partner. You will also collaborate with pre and post-sales teams to address any roadblocks and ensure customer success throughout the sales process. Your insights into market trends will help you develop effective pitches and recommendations for clients, showcasing a unique product mix that addresses their specific business challenges.
