What you'll do

As the Senior Director of Cloud Operations, you will lead the cloud infrastructure and platform engineering teams, driving the development and scaling of Horizon3 AI's SaaS platform. You will report directly to the VP of Engineering and manage a growing team through two engineering managers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

You will be responsible for defining the cloud strategy and architecture, ensuring that it aligns with the company's mission to proactively address cybersecurity threats. Your role will involve overseeing the deployment and management of cloud resources, optimizing performance, and implementing best practices for security and compliance.

You will collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure that cloud capabilities support product features and enhancements. Your insights will help shape the roadmap for cloud services, and you will play a key role in prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and technical feasibility.

You will also focus on building a high-performing team culture, fostering an environment where engineers feel empowered to innovate and contribute. Regular one-on-one meetings and team retrospectives will be part of your approach to ensure continuous improvement and team cohesion.
