You have a strong background in design, with a focus on user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive product experiences. Your experience includes working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Engineers, to bring innovative ideas to life. You thrive in collaborative environments where critique and feedback are integral to the design process, and you are committed to raising the bar for craft and clarity in your work.

You possess a deep understanding of design fundamentals and are proficient in tools like Figma, which you use to prototype and iterate on designs quickly. Your ability to communicate design concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart. You are driven by curiosity and a desire to solve meaningful user problems, ensuring that the user remains at the center of every decision you make.

What you'll do

As a Lead Designer at HOVER, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product experience by collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data partners. You will design, prototype, test, and ship high-quality product experiences that meet user needs and business goals. Your responsibilities will include leading design critiques, mentoring junior designers, and advocating for user-centered design practices across the organization.

You will be involved in the entire design process, from early ideation to final implementation, ensuring that the design vision is realized in the final product. You will also conduct user research to gather insights that inform your design decisions, helping to create products that resonate with users. Your role will require you to navigate constraints and challenges, using your problem-solving skills to find creative solutions that enhance the user experience.
