Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in sales, particularly within the SaaS or web/IT products sector — you've consistently exceeded sales targets and understand the nuances of selling to mid-market companies. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, such as business owners and marketing executives, which has honed your ability to navigate intricate negotiations. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively to potential clients. Your closing skills are well-developed, allowing you to convert leads into loyal customers successfully. You are fluent in Japanese, with business-level proficiency that allows you to engage effectively with clients and partners in Japan. You are motivated by achieving goals and have a track record of driving monthly recurring revenue (MRR) growth.

Desirable

Experience with inbound sales methodologies and a strong understanding of HubSpot's solutions would be advantageous. Familiarity with sales strategies that involve collaboration with marketing and technical teams is also a plus. You are someone who thrives in a culture that values flexibility and connection, and you are eager to contribute to a positive team environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing the sales process from lead generation to closing. You will follow up on inbound leads and work to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers, ensuring they receive the best solutions for their growth needs. You will become an expert and evangelist for HubSpot's inbound solutions, helping to spread awareness and understanding of the value they bring to organizations. Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and sales engineering, you will develop strategies to enhance sales efforts and drive growth. You will be expected to meet and exceed monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and HubSpot's mission to support organizational growth.
