You have extensive experience in customer success management, particularly within the Japanese market, and possess a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations. Your leadership skills are exceptional, allowing you to build and scale high-performing teams that deliver outstanding results. You are fluent in Japanese at a native level, enabling you to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike. You thrive in a strategic role, where you can drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth. You are passionate about fostering a culture of customer obsession and continuous improvement within your teams. You have a proven track record of navigating complex customer relationships and driving retention and expansion initiatives.
Desirable
Experience in managing customer success teams in a technology or SaaS environment is a plus. Familiarity with the JAPAC region's business landscape and customer dynamics will be beneficial. You are comfortable using data to inform decision-making and can establish performance metrics that align with business goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of managers and individual contributors across Upmarket and Scaled functions, ensuring they are equipped to support a growing Japanese customer base. You will establish performance metrics, goals, and development plans for your team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. You will oversee customer success strategies for Japanese enterprise and mid-market accounts, driving initiatives that enhance customer retention, expansion, and advocacy. Your strategic oversight will impact customer outcomes and contribute to business growth. You will collaborate closely with other leaders in the JAPAC region to align customer success initiatives with overall business objectives. You will be responsible for building relationships with key customers, ensuring they receive world-class support and strategic guidance. You will also play a critical role in identifying opportunities for improvement within the customer success function and implementing best practices across the team.
