Who you are
You have extensive experience in commercial law, ideally with a focus on technology and cybersecurity. Your background includes working with Go-to-Market teams, where you've provided legal guidance on contracts, compliance, and risk management. You understand the nuances of legal frameworks in the Americas West and APAC regions, and you are adept at navigating complex legal landscapes to support business objectives.
You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to forge effective partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization. Your ability to articulate legal concepts in a clear and concise manner helps bridge the gap between legal and business teams. You are proactive in identifying potential legal issues and providing innovative solutions that align with the company's goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will serve as the primary commercial attorney for Illumio, focusing on supporting the company's growth in the Americas West and APAC regions. You will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic objectives while mitigating legal risks. Your expertise will be crucial in advising on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, particularly in the cybersecurity sector.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to provide legal support that facilitates business operations.
