Who you are

You have 3-5 years of experience managing a buying program, demonstrating a solid grasp of inventory management concepts. Your background in data-driven purchasing allows you to make informed decisions that maximize profitability. You hold a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, equipping you with the analytical skills necessary for this role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential, as you will be analyzing performance and maintaining item master data. You are adaptable and eager to learn new software platforms, ensuring you can effectively contribute to the team.

What you'll do

As a Buyer at Inspiren, you will develop and monitor buying programs and inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time. Your responsibilities will include purchasing and reordering products to maintain optimal stock levels, interacting with vendors to follow up on special orders, and resolving issues such as breakage or partial shipments. You will analyze item performance and make recommendations to improve profitability, while also maintaining the item master and regularly reviewing SKU statuses for necessary actions. Additionally, you will provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Your role will also involve contributing at a leadership level to support Sales and Operations Planning processes and team meetings.
