Job Description
Who you are
You are an entry-level professional with a strong working knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel — you are comfortable using basic formulas, filters, and lookups to maintain and update payment trackers. Your attention to detail and accuracy ensures that daily payouts to Data Collectors are tracked and coordinated effectively.
You have a basic understanding of bank transfers and account validation, which helps you capture and validate bank account details accurately. You are proactive in identifying and flagging payout discrepancies, ensuring that no missed or duplicate payments occur. Your organizational skills allow you to maintain payment audit logs for reconciliation and future reference.
What you'll do
As a Payments Intern, you will coordinate with Internal Coordinators to track daily payout eligibility for assigned Data Collectors. You will maintain and update day-to-day payment trackers using Google Sheets and Excel, calculating payouts based on daily rates and tenure-based adjustments. Sharing verified payout sheets with the Finance team within defined timelines is a key responsibility, as is ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time.
You will perform basic checks on payout discrepancies and proactively flag any issues that arise. Your role will also involve capturing and validating bank account details, ensuring that all information is accurate and matches the required criteria. You will maintain payment audit logs, which are essential for reconciliation and future reference, contributing to the overall efficiency of the payments process.
