You have a minimum of 5+ years of product design experience across web and mobile platforms — you've successfully led design projects that have had a significant impact on user experience and business outcomes. As an AI enthusiast, you stay updated on the latest AI technologies and tools, experimenting with them to enhance your design processes and empower your team. Your strong collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to create user-centered designs that meet both user needs and business goals.
You possess a deep understanding of design principles and methodologies, and you are proficient in using design tools like Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes and user interfaces. Your portfolio showcases a range of projects that highlight your ability to solve complex design challenges and deliver intuitive user experiences. You are passionate about establishing a design-centered culture within the organization, advocating for user needs and ensuring that design is integrated into the product development process.
What you'll do
As a Staff Product Designer at Instawork, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our AI-powered labor marketplace. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define design requirements and create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts. Your work will directly impact the way skilled hourly professionals connect with local businesses, helping them gain additional skills and earn extra income.
You will lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the design team.
