You are proficient in Clojure and have a deep understanding of high throughput jobs and inter-service communication using Kafka. You are familiar with cloud environments, particularly AWS, and have experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices. Your knowledge extends to data storage solutions, including Datomic and DynamoDB, allowing you to make informed decisions about data architecture. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What you'll do

As a Lead Software Engineer at Nubank, you will be responsible for driving innovative solutions within our teams. You will tackle complex challenges related to horizontally scalable microservices, ensuring they are built with best practices in mind. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to ensure high-quality code and architecture.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to influence technical direction and contribute to Nubank's mission of redefining financial services in Latin America. Your expertise in Clojure and Kafka will be crucial as you work on high throughput jobs and inter-service communication. You will also oversee the Continuous Integration and Deployment processes into AWS, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
