You have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in designing and implementing large-scale data infrastructure and pipelines. You excel at building reliable data pipelines and have a solid understanding of ETL processes. Your programming skills are broad, particularly in Python and SQL, allowing you to tackle complex data sets effectively.
You are a problem-solver who enjoys diving into diverse projects, ranging from short-term engagements to long-term initiatives for clients, including Fortune 500 companies. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to document processes concisely is a key asset in your role.
What you'll do
As a Data Engineer at InterWorks, you will design, develop, and implement high-performance data infrastructure and pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions. You will build and implement ETL frameworks to enhance code quality and reliability, ensuring that data flows seamlessly across various systems. Your role will involve working with disparate data sources, including relational databases and flat files, to create a unified data environment.
You will also design cloud-native data pipelines and automation routines that can be leveraged for predictive and prescriptive machine learning. Collaborating closely with the Data team, you will empower clients to make informed, data-driven decisions by providing them with the tools and insights they need. Your contributions will help bridge the traditional Business-IT divide, fostering a collaborative environment that values innovation and excellence.
