InterWorks is hiring a Data Engineer to design and implement large-scale data infrastructure and pipelines. You'll work with SQL and ETL frameworks to empower clients with data-driven decisions. This role requires strong programming skills and a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Who you are
You are a problem-solver who thrives on diving into complex data sets and possesses broad programming skills. As a Data Engineer, you excel at building reliable data pipelines that empower clients to make informed, data-driven decisions. You enjoy collaborating with a close-knit team and are committed to delivering high-quality work.
You have excellent fluency in SQL and a strong proficiency in ETL processes, which allows you to design and implement effective data solutions. Your ability to communicate ideas clearly, both verbally and through documentation, enables you to work effectively with various stakeholders, including business sponsors and technical resources.
What you'll do
In this role, you will tackle diverse projects for clients ranging from local businesses to Fortune 500 companies. You will design, develop, and implement large-scale, high-performance data infrastructure and pipelines for Data Lakes and Data Warehouses. Your work will involve creating cloud-native data pipelines and automation routines that support predictive and prescriptive machine learning.
You will build and implement ETL frameworks to enhance code quality and reliability, while also enforcing common design patterns to improve code maintainability. Working with disparate data sources, including relational databases, flat files, and high-performance analytical databases, you will unify client data to provide comprehensive insights.
