What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Submission Processing Team, you will design and implement robust backend systems that support Kalepa's AI Underwriting Platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and frontend engineers to build features that enhance the user experience and improve submission processing efficiency. Your responsibilities will include developing high-performance APIs, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of the backend services. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring that the systems you build are resilient and performant.
