Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering, you have hands-on expertise in building robust data models and data pipelines. You are a self-starter with a bias for action and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Your collaborative spirit shines through as you work closely with data scientists and engineers, fostering a team-oriented environment. You have a humble, can-do attitude and a natural curiosity that drives you to explore innovative solutions.
Desirable
Experience working with data science teams is a plus, as is familiarity with data quality management processes at scale. You are well-versed in building analytical dashboards that provide insights and support decision-making processes. Your knowledge of popular data engineering tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Dagster will be invaluable in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Engineer at Kikoff, you will collaborate with the data team to design, build, and scale high-leverage data models and foundational datasets. Your responsibilities will include optimizing high-quality ergonomic foundational datasets and establishing data quality management processes at scale.
