What you'll do
As a Data Engineer at Mercor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and consolidate data from various sources. You will collaborate closely with the Data Science and Engineering teams to ensure that the data infrastructure supports their needs effectively. Your role will involve building dbt models and transformations to enhance data usability and accessibility.
You will also work on infrastructure projects that contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization. This includes optimizing existing data processes and exploring new technologies that can improve data handling and processing efficiency. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and drive them from conception to implementation, making a significant impact on the company's data capabilities.
What we offer
Mercor provides a competitive compensation package, including a generous equity grant vested over four years. If you are relocating to the Bay Area, you will receive a $20K relocation bonus, and if you live within 0.5 miles of the office, you will receive a $10K housing bonus. Additionally, you will enjoy a $1K monthly stipend for meals and a free Equinox membership.
