Overview

Kinship is hiring a Product Engineer to develop and maintain their Revit add-in using C#. You'll work with technologies like WPF and REST APIs to enhance user workflows. This position requires 3-6+ years of experience in C# development.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 3–6+ years of experience writing C# and a strong hands-on background in developing desktop applications. Your solid understanding of MVVM, particularly using CommunityToolkit.Mvvm, allows you to create responsive and stable applications that enhance user experience. You are confident with async programming, ensuring that your applications remain responsive even under heavy load. Your familiarity with WPF or WinUI 3, including styles, templates, and resource dictionaries, enables you to craft visually appealing and functional user interfaces. While not mandatory, experience with the Revit API or similar tools is a plus, as is knowledge of dependency injection and build tools like Nuke and CI/CD practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to architectural decisions that shape the future of the product.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and maintain Kinship's Revit add-in, focusing on implementing new features and improvements within the Revit environment. You will integrate the add-in with backend services via REST APIs, ensuring seamless data synchronization between Revit and our cloud platform. Your contributions will extend to architectural decisions, collaborating with other engineers on design and implementation to enhance the overall product. You will be responsible for writing clean, solid code that addresses real-world problems faced by architects and engineers, ultimately making their workflows simpler and more efficient. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our platform, and you will have the opportunity to influence product and tech decisions within a no-BS team that values autonomy and work-life balance.

What we offer

Kinship provides a competitive salary and a beautiful, plant-filled office located in central London, just by the Southwark tube station. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative environment where you can work alongside a team of dedicated individuals who love building great software together. You will have real autonomy and influence over product and tech decisions, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on our offerings. We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance, ensuring that our team members can thrive both professionally and personally.
