You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong background in infrastructure security practices. You understand the importance of building secure systems and have experience leading teams to implement security measures effectively. Your technical expertise includes working with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, and you are comfortable navigating complex security challenges. You are a collaborative leader who values diverse perspectives and fosters an inclusive team environment. You have a strategic mindset and can align security initiatives with business goals, ensuring that security is integrated into the development lifecycle. You are passionate about mentoring and developing your team, helping them grow in their careers while achieving organizational objectives.

Desirable

Experience with vulnerability management and identity and access management (IAM) is a plus. Familiarity with security tooling and centralized logging will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You may also have experience in automating security processes, which will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As the Senior Manager of Infrastructure Security Engineering, you will lead multiple teams responsible for Klaviyo's core security infrastructure. You will drive the overall strategy and execution for platform security, ensuring that security practices are embedded in the engineering process. You will partner closely with engineering and security leadership to define security requirements and deliver secure features at scale. Your role will involve overseeing the development and operation of security services, automation, and tooling that empower product teams. You will be responsible for managing vulnerability assessments and implementing effective remediation strategies. Additionally, you will ensure that identity and access management practices are robust and compliant with industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security awareness and promote best practices across the organization.
