Who you are

You have a strong background in customer success or technical support, with experience in engaging with clients and understanding their needs. You excel at building relationships and advocating for customer requirements, ensuring they receive the maximum value from the products. You are adaptable and willing to learn, even if you don't meet every requirement listed.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to interact effectively with various stakeholders, from developers to executives. You are comfortable leading technical workshops and product demonstrations, showcasing your ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner. You are proactive in identifying potential challenges and risk factors that may affect customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

As a Customer Success Engineer at Kong, you will serve as the primary post-sales point of contact for all technical, product, and support inquiries. You will engage with customers primarily through inbound requests, supporting their onboarding process by validating and identifying their needs and key project timelines. You will drive the adoption and implementation of Kong product features by leading hands-on product demonstrations and technical workshop sessions.

You will conduct periodic reviews of Kong implementations through health checks, ensuring that customers are utilizing the platform effectively. Your role will involve understanding, advocating for, and documenting the customer’s use case, architecture, and roadmap. You will work closely with customers to explore new use cases and expand their usage of Kong’s API platform, building active and meaningful relationships that foster long-term success.
