Overview

Kong is hiring a Head of Growth to lead their product-led growth strategy across various products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user activation and monetization. This role requires strong strategic and execution skills.

You have a proven track record in leading growth strategies, particularly in product-led environments. With a strong understanding of metrics and experimentation, you can define and implement effective growth strategies that drive user engagement and revenue. You thrive in cross-functional settings, collaborating with product, design, analytics, and marketing teams to create seamless user experiences. Your leadership style is inclusive and empowering, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability within your team. You are adaptable and open to learning, recognizing that growth is often about experimentation and iteration.

What you'll do

As the Head of Growth at Kong, you will own the end-to-end growth strategy for our self-serve and hybrid product offerings. This includes defining the long-term vision for growth across our AI Management, API Management, and other emerging products. You will establish key metrics and systems to track progress and drive continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, you will ensure alignment between self-serve and enterprise motions, creating a frictionless experience for our users. You will lead a cross-functional growth organization, guiding your team in executing experiments and initiatives that enhance user activation and monetization. Your role will involve shaping how Kong reaches and converts the next generation of customers, ensuring that developers can start, succeed, and scale with our products autonomously.
