Who you are

You are eager to kickstart your career in sales and have a strong interest in technology and connectivity solutions. You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable interacting with IT and business decision-makers through various channels such as telephone, video, and email. You are proactive in your approach and are willing to learn about Kong's products to effectively engage with potential clients.

You have a basic understanding of sales processes and are ready to develop strong sales and product knowledge. You are motivated by targets and enjoy the challenge of exceeding monthly and quarterly opportunity quotas. You are also a team player who values collaboration with marketing and account executives to maximize business wins.

What you'll do

In your first month, you will participate in a comprehensive sales boot camp training to familiarize yourself with Kong's product offerings and sales strategies. You will work closely with the Sales team to develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns, from idea generation to setting qualified introductory meetings for the Sales team. You will also be responsible for nurturing early-phase opportunities to build a robust future pipeline.

You will update lead and prospect activity in Salesforce to ensure effective lead management and contribute to the overall success of the sales team. Building strong relationships with your colleagues in marketing and account management will be key to your success. You will invest in your self-development, focusing on the skills and attributes that will help you excel in your core role and prepare you for future opportunities within the company.
