What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining API management software and its underlying stack. You will architect, design, and implement new innovative features, including proxying capabilities and load balancing, that extend Kong’s offerings. Your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting bugs, performance tuning, and executing low-level optimizations to ensure the software runs smoothly.

You will engage with the open-source community, gathering feedback and contributions that help make Kong a better product. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with other teams to build foundations that support their needs and discovering cutting-edge industry trends and use cases.
