Overview

Kong is seeking a GTM Strategy & Operations Manager to enhance demand generation and new logo acquisition. You'll leverage AI and data tools to optimize GTM workflows and improve conversion rates. This role requires experience in enterprise software environments.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in top-of-funnel recurring revenue cycles, ideally with experience in open source or similar enterprise software environments. You are dedicated and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights that drive effective outbound strategies. Your experience includes designing and scaling modern GTM systems, particularly those that incorporate AI-enabled workflows to enhance pipeline volume and accelerate deal velocity.

You are comfortable working with modern data and enrichment tools, such as Clay, and can deliver timely, high-quality leads to sales development representatives (SDRs) and account executives (AEs) based on actionable buying signals. Your strategic mindset allows you to build and optimize systems that generate new opportunities and improve conversion rates across the sales funnel.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on goals and strategies. You are proactive in identifying growth opportunities and are skilled at applying AI to automate and continuously improve GTM workflows, outbound sequences, and personalized prospect outreach.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud API technologies. You have a strong interest in leveraging technology to enhance sales processes and are eager to contribute to a team that is focused on innovation and growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring healthy demand generation and efficient new logo acquisition. You will provide both strategic and operational support to the SDR and marketing teams, focusing on finding and utilizing prospect and customer signals to drive effective outbound strategies. Your responsibilities will include leveraging modern data tools to deliver high-quality leads and building systems that generate net-new opportunities.

You will apply AI to design, automate, and continuously improve GTM workflows, outbound sequences, and routing logic. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of the sales process and the overall success of the company in achieving its growth targets. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the strategies you implement are effective and aligned with the company's objectives.
