Overview

Smartsheet is seeking a Vice President of GTM Strategy & Operations to drive the execution of go-to-market strategies and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and strategic partnership skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in strategic operations, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment — you've successfully led teams and driven initiatives that align with organizational growth objectives. Your ability to foster relationships with senior leaders, including the CEO and CRO, is a key strength, enabling you to collaborate effectively across departments. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and have a track record of implementing processes that enhance productivity and reduce friction in operations.

You are a strategic thinker with a focus on execution — you thrive in environments where you can influence organizational objectives and drive alignment across teams. Your leadership style emphasizes developing talent and building high-performing teams, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet the challenges of a fast-paced business landscape. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and are adept at managing multiple priorities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner closely with the SVP of GTM Strategy and Operations to execute go-to-market strategies that support accelerated growth. You will lead the planning and execution of the GTM sales model, ensuring that sales operations and analytics are aligned with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include fostering collaboration among key stakeholders, implementing organizational objectives, and driving improvements in field productivity. You will also focus on recruiting and developing a lean, elite GTM operations team, ensuring that your team is positioned for success in achieving the company's growth agenda.
