Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable data pipelines and robust data models. Your expertise in SQL and Python allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, ensuring data quality and accessibility for various teams across the organization. You thrive in an international environment and enjoy solving complex data problems, contributing to the strategic decision-making process.

You possess a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes, enabling you to design and implement efficient data workflows. Your experience with data modeling ensures that the data structures you create are optimized for performance and usability. You are familiar with BI tools like Power BI, which you use to create insightful reports and dashboards that drive business intelligence.

You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts and product managers, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that empower them. Your strong communication skills help you articulate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on data-driven initiatives.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as it allows you to leverage cloud-based solutions for data storage and processing. Familiarity with machine learning concepts can also be beneficial, as you may work on projects that involve predictive analytics and data-driven insights.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support Kpler's products and analytics. You will design and implement data models that ensure high-quality data is accessible to teams across the organization. Your work will involve collaborating with the Business Intelligence & Insights team to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

You will also be tasked with optimizing existing data workflows and identifying opportunities for improvement. This includes troubleshooting data issues and implementing best practices for data management. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the data foundations that power Kpler's analytics and strategic decision-making processes.

As a Senior BI Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. You will also stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that Kpler remains at the forefront of data engineering practices.
