Who you are
You have a solid background in general ledger accounting, with experience in preparing journal entries and reconciling financial statements. Your attention to detail ensures that balance sheet schedules are maintained accurately, and you are comfortable working with multiple entities across different regions, including the UK, Singapore, and UAE. You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering with various stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex financial data and provide insights that drive informed decision-making. Your ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams makes you a valuable asset in any organization. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement within accounting processes and are eager to implement best practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the general ledger accounting functions at Kpler. This includes preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling financial statements, and maintaining balance sheet schedules for multiple regions. You will report directly to the Lead Accounting Manager and will collaborate with various stakeholders across all Kpler entities to ensure financial data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
You will also be involved in the preparation of financial reports and analyses that support strategic decision-making within the company. Your role will require you to stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring that Kpler's accounting processes are efficient and compliant. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting practices and systems within the organization.
