You have a strong background in backend engineering, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs for web and mobile applications. You understand the intricacies of HTTP/3 and how it impacts client-side connections, and you're skilled at troubleshooting and fixing system issues that arise. Your expertise in database modeling allows you to create efficient structures that support high-performance applications.

You are familiar with caching solutions and connection pooling techniques, which you have implemented to enhance database and infrastructure performance. You have experience profiling and identifying bottlenecks in HTTP/WebSocket requests, enabling real-time image and video generation. Your proactive approach to observability and monitoring ensures that operational incidents are managed effectively, and you are comfortable making architectural changes to scale services as needed.

You are passionate about open-source contributions and are eager to share any non-trivial innovations that emerge from your work. You have a keen interest in professionalizing products by adding enterprise-grade features such as Audit Logs, SAML/SSO, and SCIM. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited about building web-native and AI-native creative tools that empower users.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement private APIs that serve as the backbone of Krea's AI creative tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the APIs meet the needs of both web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include designing database models that optimize performance and scalability, as well as fixing issues related to HTTP/3 connections.

You will improve the performance of the database and infrastructure by implementing effective caching solutions and connection pooling strategies. Profiling and identifying bottlenecks in HTTP/WebSocket requests will be a key part of your role, enabling the team to deliver real-time image generation and video capabilities.

You will enhance the observability and monitoring of services, allowing for better responses to operational incidents. As the service scales, you will make architectural changes and infrastructure improvements to support growth. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to open-source projects, sharing innovations that arise from your work.

Your role will involve iterating on software development processes to create web-native and AI-native tools that enhance user creativity. You will work on adding enterprise-grade features to the main product, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
