Who you are
You are a highly skilled Backend Engineer with a passion for creating innovative technology solutions. You have experience designing and developing performant and scalable backend systems and databases, and you care deeply about user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, valuing teamwork and pair programming as essential parts of the development process. You are detail-oriented and strategic, always thinking about building for the long run while ensuring the health of the codebase through iterative development and regular refactoring.
You have familiarity with 3D graphics libraries and frameworks, such as Unity or Unreal Engine, and you are eager to learn more about them. You understand the importance of end-to-end testing frameworks and have experience with CI/CD systems. Your knowledge of AWS Kinesis or similar video streaming services, along with a deeper understanding of CDNs, will be a valuable asset to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of backend systems that enable homeowners to interact with their properties through a 3D model in a beautiful app for iPad and iPhone. You will collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and engineers from other domains to ensure a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for architecting reliable, scalable, and maintainable applications, solving challenging problems along the way. Your input will help shape product roadmaps and development approaches, ensuring that the technology we build meets the needs of our users.
