Kronos Research is hiring a Quantitative Research Intern (DeFi) to advance research initiatives in decentralized finance. You'll conduct analyses on DeFi protocols and develop quantitative trading strategies. This position requires skills in smart contract coding and a strong passion for blockchain.
Job Description
Who you are
You are currently pursuing a research-based degree in a quantitative or computing field, ideally at the postgraduate level. You have a strong passion for blockchain and cryptocurrency, and you are eager to engage in projects independently while receiving guidance from the team during your internship. You have completed at least a 3-month internship or full-time position at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund as a Quantitative Researcher or Trader, with prior involvement in alpha-related projects.
You possess smart contract coding skills on EVM chains, Solana, or other layer 1/layer 2 blockchains. You are comfortable conducting research and analyses to explore innovative solutions for on-chain execution and trading requirements. Your analytical mindset allows you to discern emerging trends within the DeFi space effectively.
What you'll do
As a Quantitative Research Intern (DeFi), you will play a pivotal role in advancing research initiatives focused on decentralized finance protocols. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive research on cutting-edge DeFi ecosystems, employing quantitative analysis to identify strategic opportunities. You will investigate various decentralized protocols and devise quantitative trading strategies to enhance trading performance.
You will develop tools to monitor and analyze the performance of our trading systems, assessing the broader market landscape. Your work will contribute to the team's understanding of DeFi trends and help shape the strategies we implement. You will collaborate closely with team members, sharing insights and findings to drive innovation in our trading approaches.
