What you'll do
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Lightship, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle exteriors team, focusing on the design and development of the canopy lift system. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of subsystems, from clean sheet design to production. Your typical week will involve designing detailed 3D models in CATIA, conducting calculations to validate your designs, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure the manufacturability of your components. You will also engage in prototyping and testing in the workshop, ensuring that your designs meet performance and safety standards.
