LILT is seeking Freelance Norwegian Translators to help make the world's information accessible through cutting-edge AI and human expertise. This role requires native-level proficiency in Norwegian and a minimum of 2 years of translation experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a native-level Norwegian speaker with a strong background in translation and localization. With at least 2 years of experience in the field, you have a degree in Linguistics or Translation, or equivalent practical experience. You are passionate about language and technology, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can contribute to innovative solutions in the translation industry.
You possess proven expertise in various domains such as Life Sciences, IT, Marketing, Legal, and Finance, and you are comfortable working with subtitling as well. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that the translations you provide maintain the brand voice and integrity of the original content. You are adaptable and open to learning new tools and technologies that enhance your translation capabilities.
What you'll do
As a Freelance Norwegian Linguist at LILT, you will collaborate with a forward-thinking company that is at the forefront of AI-driven translation. You will work remotely on your own schedule, allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments. Your primary responsibility will be to translate and localize content across various industries, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
