Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in statistical analysis and machine learning. You are proficient in SQL and have experience with programming languages such as Python or R, enabling you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You possess a quantitative mindset and are skilled at translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to drive data-informed decisions. You are comfortable designing and analyzing online experiments, and you can communicate results clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in environments where you can identify opportunities for growth and efficiency through data-driven insights.
Desirable
Experience in the ridesharing or transportation industry is a plus, as is familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and data visualization tools. You are eager to stay updated with the latest trends in data science and are open to learning new technologies that can enhance your analytical capabilities.
What you'll do
As a Senior Data Scientist at Lyft, you will leverage data and analytical frameworks to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within the Rider team.
