Your experience includes end-to-end data science work, from problem framing and data exploration to modeling and validation. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

You have a proven track record of solving complex business problems using data-driven approaches. You are familiar with the healthcare industry and understand the nuances of claims payments and the importance of accuracy in this domain. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify patterns and trends in data, and you are adept at using statistical methods to validate your findings. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce costs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end data science process for the claims payments product, working closely with the Pay team to enhance existing models and develop new ones. You will be responsible for framing business problems, exploring data, and building machine learning models that identify erroneous healthcare payments. Your work will directly contribute to significant cost savings for health plans and improve the efficiency of claims processing.

You will create technical frameworks and tools that enable the team to scale their efforts and achieve better business outcomes. This includes developing best practices for model validation and deployment, as well as ensuring that the models are robust and reliable in production environments. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data science projects.
