Who you are
You are an experienced attorney with a strong background in data privacy and compliance law, particularly within the European context. You have a proven track record of providing legal guidance on product development and navigating complex regulatory environments. Your ability to engage with regulators and understand the evolving legal landscape is essential for this role. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and policy. You are proactive in identifying legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Desirable
Experience working in-house at a technology company or a law firm specializing in technology and data privacy law would be advantageous. Familiarity with GDPR and other European regulations is a plus, as is a background in advising on product launches and compliance strategies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing legal requirements.
What you'll do
