Who you are

You are a highly experienced Security Engineer with a strong background in leading security programs, particularly in the context of Mergers & Acquisitions. You have a deep understanding of security protocols and compliance requirements, and you thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration is key. Your experience includes evaluating and integrating security measures for various companies and assets, ensuring that security is a foundational consideration in all strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively liaise with Corporate Development, Legal, Privacy, Infrastructure, and Product teams. You are adept at translating complex security concepts into actionable strategies that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders. Your leadership style is inclusive, fostering a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management within the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the security efforts for Meta's Mergers & Acquisitions program, acting as the technical security leader responsible for evaluating potential acquisitions and ensuring that security measures are integrated seamlessly. You will work closely with various teams to assess the security posture of target companies, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities that need to be addressed prior to acquisition.

You will develop and implement security frameworks that align with Meta's overall security strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough security assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and providing guidance on security best practices throughout the M&A lifecycle.

You will also be responsible for creating and delivering training sessions to educate teams on security protocols and the importance of security in the M&A process. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest security trends and threats, continuously adapting the security program to address emerging risks.
