Backend Engineer • Senior

Who you are

5+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable systems — you've led the design and implementation of complex services and have a deep understanding of multi-tenant architectures and performance optimization.

Strong expertise in Java and Spring frameworks — you've developed high-performance APIs and understand the nuances of service architecture, including security and reliability considerations.

Experience with cloud platforms and microservices — you are familiar with deploying applications in a cloud environment and have worked with containerization technologies like Docker.

You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can navigate complex technical challenges — your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that you can drive projects from conception to deployment.

What you'll do

Join Mindtickle as a Senior Backend Engineer and take ownership of the design and development of critical backend services that power the company's revenue productivity platform. You will work closely with product managers, SRE/DevOps, and security teams to ensure that the services you build are reliable, secure, and performant.

You will lead the technical direction for services such as Notifications, Authentication, and User Management, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your role will involve hands-on coding as well as mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

You will also be responsible for defining and monitoring service-level objectives (SLOs) and ensuring that the services you build are cost-effective and scalable. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the overall success of Mindtickle's products, helping to drive revenue growth and improve user experience.
