What you'll do

As a Software Engineer 3 at MongoDB, you will design and build components of a multi-tenant inference platform integrated with MongoDB Atlas — your work will support semantic search and hybrid retrieval, enabling both batch and real-time use cases. You will collaborate with AI engineers to productionize inference for embedding models, focusing on latency-aware routing and model versioning.

You will contribute to enhancing platform capabilities such as health monitoring and observability — your role will involve improving performance, autoscaling, and GPU utilization in a cloud-native environment. You will work across product, infrastructure, and ML teams to ensure the inference platform meets the scale and reliability required for modern applications.
