MongoDB is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide customers in designing and building scalable systems using their data platform. You'll leverage your technical expertise in languages like Python, Node.js, and Java to ensure customer success. This role requires 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5 to 8 years of related industry experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role. Your background includes a minimum of 2 years of experience with modern scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, and SQL, as well as popular programming languages like C++, Java, and C#. You have a proven track record of implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in the cloud and on-premises. Your ability to work with customers to review complex architecture of existing applications is exceptional, and you provide valuable guidance on how to improve by leveraging technology. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are second nature to you, allowing you to effectively engage with a diverse range of clients.
Desirable
Experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles is a plus, as is familiarity with MongoDB's data platform. You are comfortable navigating complex technical discussions and can articulate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your entrepreneurial spirit and passion for technology drive you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of MongoDB's Pre-Sales organization, where you will work closely with sales executives to help customers solve business problems by leveraging MongoDB's solutions. You will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical presentations and demonstrations, as well as providing architectural guidance to ensure successful deployments. You will play a key role in winning deals and driving business growth by acting as a trusted advisor to a wide range of users, from startups to large enterprise IT organizations. Your expertise will help shape customer success stories and drive the adoption of MongoDB's technology.
